ABOUT N-REDI

Nurturing Resilience and Equity for Diversity Initiative (N-REDI) is a Non-governmental, Non-Profit, and Non-Political National Humanitarian and Developmental Organization headquartered in Maiduguri, Borno State, with a sub-office in Zamfara, North West, and operations across four states, including the BAY states of Nigeria.

N-REDI is a disability-focused organization committed to promoting gender-sensitive responses that prioritize the inclusion of persons with disabilities in humanitarian efforts. We recognize the intersectionality of gender and disability, understanding the unique vulnerabilities and barriers faced by women, girls, and gender minorities with disabilities during crises and emergencies.

N-REDI aims to strengthen protection mechanisms, enhance child protection, improve nutrition, and mitigate gender-based violence risks through a holistic, intersectional approach that addresses the unique vulnerabilities faced by marginalized communities during crises and emergencies. Our approach addresses these intersecting challenges by advocating for all individuals' rights and empowerment, raising awareness, and implementing sustainable programs that foster an inclusive society where all individuals can thrive, regardless of gender or disability status.
